It’s no secret that things can get pretty crazy as your wedding day approaches, but I’m here to help you through that. Not only are we going to capture some beautiful images together, but I’m going to keep you cool, calm and collected!
I always send my clients some tips around their wedding week and these are some of my favorites:
HOLD HANDS DURING YOUR CEREMONY this is probably my number one tip because sometimes people forget to do this. The ceremony is where you finally become spouses. This is the exact moment you’ve been waiting for! Hold hands and be present in this moment together.
KEEP YOUR BOUQUETS IN WATER try to keep your flowers in water as long as possible! Especially during those warmer months. You put so much thought into your flowers so let’s not let them wilt before you walk down the aisle.
REVIEW YOUR BUSTLE let’s be honest, it’s been a while since you’ve picked up your dress and tried it on. Take it for a spin and try out that bustle! Believe it or not this can become a huge time suck on your wedding day. Be sure to grab you maid of honor and become familiar with your bustle before the big day.
ASK YOUR OFFICIANT TO STEP AWAY it’s easy to get caught up in the moment, but having your officiant’s face between your lips may not be the image you want to see when you look back at your first kiss!
HAVE FUN this is one of the best days of your life that you have put so much of your heart and soul into. Don’t forget to enjoy it!
