I grew up on the sidelines, noticing the little things that other people didn’t. The way people would look at each other, the emotions that would pass their faces in just a split second. The camera in my hand gave me a way to show the world these moments that others seem to miss, and it’s one of my greatest gifts (apart from being a mom, of course).
I was always that kid that shied away from the limelight, never wanting to be the center of attention - the complete opposite of my athletic, sporty sisters. So I started taking their photos at their events. It gave me a way to be included without drawing to much attention to myself. I always refer to myself as a wallflower, and I mean that in the best possible way.

They come from the moments where you’re not afraid to just have fun. To feel a little silly in order to get that magical shot. I always say my favorite couple are the ones who will run in a field, climb on each other's backs, and even get in the ocean together. The ones who will get on each other's shoulders, wear docs or sneakers under their dress because it’s more them than the heels their mom picked out.

The best photos are the unplanned ones
Ashley should be a wedding coordinator in addition to being a phenomenal photographer! From the first time my fiancé and I met with Ashley, she got to know us, learned our love story, and used that to capture our wedding day. Ashley was in communication with me leading up to the wedding, and even sent me tips to help with day of stress, to make even better pictures! She came to capture “getting ready” photos, and just fit right in! She was like having another bridesmaid!
Ashley was the voice I needed throughout the day reminding me, “It’s your day!”. She fluffed my veil, she corralled the wedding party, and climbed through bushes to get that perfect shot. Ashley made us feel so at ease, went to multiple locations, and was just the most perfect photographer I could have found! Ashley invests in her clients, and creates personal connections. I consider myself lucky to be an AGP Bride.

The best place to take your engagement photos is somewhere that you’d go anyway on a date! Let’s head to the bookstore, or your favorite coffee shop. You’ll be way more relaxed and it’ll feel less awkward for you.

I might be biased as a lover of golden hour, but it really is the best time to capture your images. The light holds a magic that just can’t be documented the rest of the day. (and if you’re on my site, you probably agree!)

I’m a Summer girl through and through. The moment the weather is nice you’ll find me heading down to the beach - it’s a core part of who I am.

My favorite thing to do is snuggle up on the couch and watch movies, especially on rainy gloomy days! You’ll also find me buried under a weighted blanket listening to Taylor Swift on repeat

If you feel awkward in front of the camera, just know, you’re not alone. Heck, even I don’t like being in front of the camera, and I’m the photographer. The main thing I always hear is "we're not good at taking pictures", and I just want you to know that you totally can be! It’s all based on confidence and feeling comfortable, and as someone who was always uncomfortable in the center of attention moments I totally get it. I’ll make sure you feel celebrated and excited throughout the whole process! It’s your day and it’s going to be good vibes through and through with amazing photos at the end.
And in terms of confidence in front of the camera? Fake it ‘til you make it, baby.
